Le Périgord Noir, ou le Sarladais, est une région naturelle de France, c’est-à-dire qu’elle correspond à un territoire possédant des caractères physiques homogènes. Il tient son nom des nombreuses forêts de chênes Verts très sombres qui donnent cet aspect très sombre à cette partie de la Dordogne.
