L’absence d’utilisation de produits chimiques de synthèse (engrais azoté, pesticides) réduit le coût de dépollution de l’eau; La qualité sanitaire des produits bio contribue à la santé des consommateurs et n’engendre pas de coût supplémentaire pour la santé publique (cancers liés à l’usage de pesticides).
